IDOASIS Showcases Sustainable Innovation with BEONNAT Project at CONAMA 2024

IDOASIS 2002 has showcased the BEONNAT project at the National Environmental Congress (CONAMA) 2024, held in Madrid from December 2 to 5. The BEONNAT project, a European initiative funded under the Horizon 2020 program, focuses on developing innovative bioproducts from underutilized plant biomass, including species such as Rosmarinus officinalis, Betula pendula, and Ulmus pumila.

IDOASIS highlighted its work on extracting bioactive compounds from plant biomass to create sustainable alternatives for various industries, including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and agriculture. The project leverages advanced technologies and green chemistry approaches to ensure efficient and environmentally friendly processing of these materials.

BEONNAT aligns with the European Union’s Green Deal objectives by promoting the circular bioeconomy, reducing dependency on fossil-based resources, and enhancing resource efficiency. The project’s contributions aim to address global challenges related to climate change and environmental sustainability while fostering innovation in bio-based industries.

IDOASIS’s participation at CONAMA 2024 reflects its dedication to advancing sustainable solutions and collaborating on initiatives that drive a greener future. For more details about the BEONNAT project, visit beonnatproject.com.
